About The Colorado Chord Company

Colorado Chord Company is a Denver-area menʼs a cappella chorus singing bold four-part
barbershop harmony with energy, skill, and heart. We bring together men of all ages who want
great music, strong friendships, memorable performances, and a fun way to serve the
community. The Colorado Chord Company is a chorus of The Denver MountainAires Chapter of Barbershop Harmony Society, 

Barbershop harmony has a sound all its own: rich chords, ringing overtones, and every singer
fully engaged from start to finish. That means no standing around waiting for your moment —
you are part of the sound the whole time, and that is a big reason it is so much fun to sing.

What makes us different
We are serious about music, but we keep the atmosphere welcoming and relaxed. Whether you
are an experienced singer or just wondering if you might be able to do this, we will help you
find your part and get comfortable quickly.

Our chorus sings a wide range of music, including Beatles, Disney, movie songs, John Denver
favorites, patriotic music, and more. Along with the full chorus, members can also explore
quartet opportunities for extra fun and performance experience.

We call ourselves Colorado Chord Company because we make musical chords using 4 part harmony.

Experience and impact
Our co-directors, John Coffin and Jerry Hooper, bring more than 90 years of combined
experience to the chorus. That leadership helps us keep improving while making rehearsals
enjoyable and accessible for singers at different levels.

We are proud to have been the official chorus for the 80th Anniversary of Pearl Harbor and to
have participated in the 75th Anniversary of D-Day in France. We also sing at community
events across the Denver metro, including veteran events, Denver Childrenʼs Hospital, and
performances for senior groups.

Learning and support
You do not need to read music to sing with us. We provide sheet music, free singing lessons,
voice-part help, and professionally created learning tracks so you can practice your part on
your own time, on almost any device.
That makes it easy to learn at your own pace, whether you are brand new to harmony singing
or getting back into music aer a long break.
At the end of the day, Colorado Chord Company is about great harmony, good guys, and a
genuinely enjoyable night every week. We love to sing, we love to laugh, and we are always glad
