We are busy rehearsing our next show package, which will include new 60s and 70s songs. Join us on Tuesday evenings!

And we are excited to be working on a new idea: The Music Medics will visit children's hospitals in the metro, singing Disney favorites

CCC sang a patriotic set at a lunch for veterans and their families at Northglenn Community Center on 11th November 2023.

The audience was very appreciative. While we sang there were various pictures of veterans projected on the wall above and behind us, and at one point there was a picture of us singing at the same event last year.

May 6th 2023 CCC sang a half-hour set, a shortened version of our 'Yesterday' program, at the Arvada Acalada a cappella festival. We were very well received and hope that we can take part again next year.

Many thanks to Al Klinger for taking a video recording of our performance!

CCC were honored to take part in the annual memorial service at the Westminster Elks Lodge on December 4th. In this service, the Elks remember their members who have passed and light a candle for each one. The emphasis is on not being sad about their loss, rather remember the person in a positive light, reflecting on what they have learned from them and promising to teach others.

We sang 7 songs to complement the occasion:

I Believe
Amazing Grace
Irish Blessing
Wonderful World
Auld Lang Syne
God Bless America
Taps

These were very well received. In particular, comments were made about how much they enjoyed Taps, which was arranged by our associate director, Jerry Hooper.

CCC sang a half-hour set of patriotic songs 11/11/22 for the Veterans Day lunch at the new Northglenn Recreation Center. Some of us attended the service at the memorial at 11am which was followed by a spaghetti lunch in the community center. After our performance we met with veterans, thanked them for their service, sang with them and listened to stories of their experiences. Several members of CCC have served, including both of our directors.

CCC competed in the Rocky Mountain District chorus competition Saturday October 8th 2022

We sang two songs, 'A Wink And A Smile' and 'Somewhere Over The Rainbow'

We have been rehearsing these songs for several months now - it all seemed to be over in a flash, but we did our best and were proud of our performance.

(results will be posted when they are released)

We particularly want to thank John and Jerry for all the blood, sweat and tears they put into shaping up the two songs

Congratulations to Drew Lubeck on his first time singing in public with the chorus!
