the Colorado Chord Company,
an award-winning Men's Chorus!

The Colorado Chord Company is a men’s a cappella group in the Metro Denver area, singing complex 4-part harmony arrangements. The 4 parts are Lead (melody), and the harmony parts are Tenor, Baritone and Bass. This is also known as 'The Barbershop Harmony Style'. It creates a rich harmonic sound that is not possible with other styles. We sing a variety of songs types, including Beatles, Disney, movie songs, John Denver, patriotic and more. In addition to the full Chorus, we also have Quartet opportunities.

In 2022 we were chosen to be the official Chorus at the 80th Anniversary of Pearl Harbor, an honor for which we are very proud. We also participated at the 75th Anniversary of D-Day in France.

Our directors, John Coffin and Jerry Hooper, have more than 90 years of combined experience. One of the best elements of our type of singing is that everyone is singing throughout the song. There is no waiting for your part so it is more fun for everyone. We welcome beginners and we will help you determine the best 'part' for you, and we provide free singing lessons on the second Tuesday of each month. Click above for details.

You do not need to know how to read music to participate. We provide sheet music and professionally created 'learning tracks' that are part specific. For example, Leads can listen to their part over and over on any device and learn by singing along. Turn your time spent driving into a fun 'sing along'!

We welcome men of ALL ages.

We value singing, friendship and community service. We sing at events all over the Denver Metro area; including the Denver Children’s Hospital, veteran events, and for senior groups and we put on numerous shows each year. We welcome all men who can sing, or would like to see if they can sing a cappella. How do you get started? All you have to do is stop by our rehearsal and check out the fun and harmony!  We rehearse at Waterstone Community Church 5890 S Alkire St, Littleton, CO 80127 from 7PM to 9:30 every Tuesday and many of us hang around and have beer and sing more songs afterwards if you want to participate.
