We're BACK REHEARSING IN PERSON!

We are back rehearsing at Edgewater Community Church on Tuesdays, starting at 7:15pm

We will be following state and CDC guidelines to provide everyone with the safest possible environment for singing.

Currently masks are not required if you show proof of Covid vaccination.

A singing mask is recommended as they have more breathing room. Masks may be available for purchase at rehearsal.

We have a large fan blowing in air from outside, for ventilation. Because of this the rehearsal room may be chilly, so dress warm. NOTE: On poor air quality days we may move the meeting to Zoom-only.

The rehearsal will be broadcast on Zoom. Audio quality is not great, but you should be able to follow along.  

 

MASK OPTIONS:  

Good options for singing-

  1. Singer's mask - https://www.mymusicfolders.com/product/resonance-singers-mask-with-disposable-biofilters/  These work well, don't suck in against your face when you inhale. 
  2. Cone-style medical mask. These work well, not much different from the singer's mask.  https://harmonycr.com/surgical-cone-style-face-mask/non27381-c  They seem to do less fogging of glasses also. 
  3. A plastic insert that keeps a regular mask away from your face.  

If you want to use a face shield, it would need to have an apron under/around it to keep the vapor in.
